Attaining the Buddha/Shaman Within
Sprowls has devised an abbreviated system of Taoist yoga and meditation which will assist in the cultivation of Inner Strength and Transformation which he has shared openly with his clientele since 1996. All of the techniques and exercies that will be presented are gentle on the body and have been used for centuries by Oriental mystics to attain the Buddha or Shaman within. As with all of the Oriental systems, very little time is necessary to establish technique, but the practitioner is empowered to spend their lifetime mastering and expanding thier awareness. Diligent practice of these techniques will lead to increased awareness and reconnect the practitioner to Spirit. Both advanced and beginning students will benefit greatly from these techniques. Attached you will see a brief course outline of the information that will be presented, as well as a list of suggested reading for the students.
Day 1 (3 hours instruction)
Basic
Chakric and Anatomical Anatomy
For nearly 6 000 years, Vedic and Taoist mystics have
surmised that the human organism is constructed of many, many
layers of energy--each layer becoming progressively more dense
till we establish "form." This introduction is designed
to direct the student's awarensss to begin to identify the
specifice energetic and traditional functions of the organs and
chakras as has been deduced by the mystics for centuries.
Directed Internal
Meditation
This guided/directed Meditation is designed to help the student
develop "inner sight" and to sense the functions of the
internal organs.
The
Metaphysics of Energy/Light Work
This brief discussion will attempt to define and set forth the
technical infromation of the subtle (the aura) and the dense (the
internal organ network and the human body) bodies; and how the
energy of positive and negative emotions and experiences affect
them.

Simplified
Taoist Yoga
The term yoga refers to spiritually-based exercises that
operate on a variet of levels, simultaneously, to harmonize the
body with the spiritual dimensions. For example, hatha yoga
(the common exercise we think of when the word yoga is
mentioned) is designed to unify the body and mind so that the
Spirit can move through you. This section is a simplified series
of directed breathing, gentle stretches, and energy awareness
designed to help the student encourage general body wellness and
to carry heightened levels of Universal Life Force Energy (qi).
Guided
Meditation to 'Still the Mind'
This simple technique will assist you at anytime that you chose
to stop the mind from racing and to reclaim your power. Some
symptoms of the Mind predominating are: insomnia, the scattering
of your thoughts, memories, or vital energy.

Wei, Acknowlegement of Heaven and Earth
In this art of non-doing, we acknowledge and accept the movement
of love with and without us. We give thanks for our own choice to
exist and we give thanks to the Universe for bringing us
Spiritual systems with which we can work and empower ourselves to
return. We detach... knowing, sensing, and aware that we are all
a part of the Tao and the Tao is a part of us, that we are never
separate, or alone.

Review of Taoist Yoga
Guided Meditation to 'Still the Mind'

Internal Awareness
Here, we perform our "daily houselcleaning" aware that
all is in its place, and in what condition it was returned.
The
Microcosmic Orbit
This powerful technique, rediscoverd by Master Mantak Chia, is an
excellent technique to fortify and cleanse the multiple layers of
the aura and chakras, simultaneously. By enacting this cycling of
energy around our bodies, we will gently undo stubborn blckages,
and fortify the aura field to further prevent invasion from
negative, adverse, or illness energies. You will immediately feel
the results of your enegy being regathered and reassembled within
you.

Meditation: The Fusion of the Universal Life Force
In this next component we will begin back at the Microcosmic
Orbit, performing a few more cycles to reactivate your energy and
then move it internal. Slowly and gently we shall perfom an
energetic healing upon ourselves ridding the body of negative
emotional experiences and easing the toxins from our organs and
chakras, moving toward the Earth. As we progress in this exercise
we will be making ourselves an even greater vessel through which
the Universal Life Force energy can flow into and through,
reaching down into the Earth and beginning to take form.
